Arthur Fayne

President & Chief Executive Officer

Arthur Fayne is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the 4K Program Consultants & Development Group and the 4Kids Leadership Endowment Foundation. Growing up in impoverished communities and substandard housing conditions in Cleveland, Ohio Arthur became determined not to become a product of his environment. In 1978, after meeting his mentor in a summer youth and training program, the commitment to social and community development began. For the past 28 years, his commitment to social, economic and community development has been unwavering.

Prior to founding 4K in 1998, Arthur served as executive director...most notable Thurgood Marshall Recreational Center and the Hough Community Council both situated in one of Cleveland's most impoverished communities. Under Arthur's leadership, these two organizations expanded their services to be a part of the revitalization and resurgence of the Hough community where historic and grand homes are now being built in the middle of $4.4 billion of economic development.

More recently, Arthur served as the executive director of the UAW Ford Motor Company's Family Service and Learning Center, where he helped to successfully launch six family service and learning center programs in various plants throughout Ohio, and a new $12 million, state-of-the-art facility in Middleburg Heights. Under Arthur's leadership, programs offerings in this facility were positioned from a zero base to the 3 rd highest participating center in the country; exceeding forecasted program participation by 400% within 12 months. Because of this, he received special recognitions as the center director.

Through the 4KIDS Leadership Endowment Foundation, Arthur has taught leadership development seminars at: Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University, Urban League of Akron, and the Portage County Community Action Agency. In addition, he has developed and taught leadership curriculums within twelve school districts in the states of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. His affiliations with civic organizations includes: The City of Aurora parks and Recreation Department, the Council for Economic Opportunities of Greater Cleveland, Hough Area Partner in Progress (HAPP), Eastside Interfaith Ministries, the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland, League Park Development Corporation, Bicentennial Commission and as a inductee of the Kaleidoscope magazine's 40/40 Club,

In addition to serving on various community development Board's of Directors, his community development planning and training includes numerous professional development workshops and seminars in the areas of community planning, leadership development, strategic planning and project management.

Arthur received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania where he served as a member of the Organization of Black Collegiate and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. An avid sports enthusiast, he was captain of the college basketball team and went on to play semi-professional basketball in Taipei, Taiwan. He is married, has four sons and two grandchildren.
